Logan completed his undergraduate and postgraduate training at The University of Southern Queensland. He subsequently worked in acute, community, and extended inpatient mental health facilities, along with private practice. Logan has recently relocated from Sydney, where he worked in specialist substance use treatment services, providing treatment to people experiencing both substance use and mental health issues, along with providing leadership in clinical and research activities. 

Logan works with adults, and has experience in a broad range of mental health problems. He has a particular interest in the treatment of substance-use and addiction issues (including alcohol and other drugs, gambling, internet, sex, and pornography addictions). He has extensive experience in the treatment of trauma-related issues including assisting people who have experienced both childhood and adult trauma, and those with diagnoses such as PTSD and Complex PTSD. Logan is particularly passionate about helping people who experience chronic difficulties and those experiencing complex mental health issues.

Logan utilises evidence-based treatments, but works individually with clients to tailor treatment to what is most important to them. He has training and extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy, along with trauma focused interventions. Logan is an accredited practitioner in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), accredited by the EMDR Association of Australia. 

Aside from his clinical work, Logan is completing research into the relationship between substance use disorders and trauma-related disorders and is active in several national and international research projects. Logan is additionally an accredited supervisor, and can provide supervision to therapists and clinicians along with supporting provisionally registered Psychologists or Psychology Registrars.
