Caraiosa is an empathetic, person-centred, and caring psychologist who provides a safe and non-judgemental environment.

She completed her Bachelor and Honours (Bsc, Hons) Degree at Queen’s University Belfast in the UK and after many years in private practice, is now studying her Masters of Clinical Psychology to further pursue endorsement as a clinical psychologist. 

Caraiosa works with clients of all ages and is skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health issues. She supports clients with a variety of presentations including anxiety disorders (such as Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Specific Phobias), mood disorders (such as Depression and Bipolar Disorder) trauma, adjustment disorders, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation including anger difficulties, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ASD and ADHD.

Caraiosa utilises evidence-based intervention through a range of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Mindfulness-Based Therapies. She is also trained in complex behaviour support and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and has skills in Social-Emotional learning therapy.

Caraiosa is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She also can provide therapy through NDIS plans.
