Dr Johann Eloff

Johann is a co-founder and director at Eloff & Andrews Clinical Psychology. He completed his Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland. Johann has been in private practice on the Sunshine Coast for over 15 years. He is an AHPRA endorsed supervisor, and advanced certified Schema Therapist.
He takes a supportive, compassionate, and person-centred approach to his work, drawing on Schema Therapy (ST), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). His clinical focus includes working with adults experiencing complex difficulties such as trauma, personality disorders, chronic depression and anxiety.
A strong area of interest is supporting high-performing professionals who experience chronic stress, perfectionism, burnout, and the cumulative impact of high-responsibility roles. He is particularly passionate about helping individuals in demanding professions maintain psychological wellbeing while continuing to perform at a high level, with a specific interest in working with health professionals.
In recognition of his work, Johann was the winner of the inaugural Australian Patients Association Outstanding Psychologist Award 2024 and was previously a finalist for Psychologist of the Year (Australian Allied Health Awards).
He is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and endorsed as a clinical psychologist. He is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST).
