Gabe Hart

Clinical Psychologist
BPsych (Hons), MPsych (Clin), MAPS

Gabe is a clinical psychologist who works with adults and older adults, bringing a calm, collaborative approach that pairs evidence-based practice with genuine curiosity about each person's story.

She is passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe enough to slow down and look at what's difficult. Gabe believes meaningful change comes from understanding the patterns beneath a presenting problem, not just managing symptoms, and she works to help clients make sense of their experiences in a way that feels clear rather than overwhelming.

She works with adults experiencing trauma and post-traumatic stress, anxiety disorders, depression, stress and burnout, self-esteem concerns, and difficulties with adjustment and life transitions. Gabe has a particular interest in developmental and acute or recent trauma, and in the psychological aspects of chronic pain and persistent health conditions.

Her practice is client-centred and integrative, drawing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). Gabe has completed EMDR training through the EMDR Institute and values EMDR for its capacity to help clients process distressing experiences without needing to talk through every detail.

Gabe completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Australia and her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She is recognised as a Clinical Psychologist by Medicare, is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a professional member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
