Registered Psychologist, Clinical Psychology Registrar
Ine is an experienced psychologist with over 12 years’ experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across a broad range of psychological presentations. She is passionate about helping people better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, and make meaningful and sustainable changes in their lives.
Ine has extensive experience working with anxiety, mood difficulties, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, and adjustment difficulties.
Ine takes a warm, collaborative and person-centred approach to therapy. She believes that every individual is unique and that therapy is most effective when it is flexible, strengths-based and developed collaboratively with the client. When working with children and adolescents, she also values family-centred practice and works closely with parents and caregivers where appropriate to support positive and lasting change.
Ine works with clients across the lifespan and draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Schema Therapy. She integrates these approaches according to each client’s needs, goals and preferences rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Helping people navigate difficult periods, build on their strengths, and move towards a more fulfilling life is what continues to drive Ine in her work as a psychologist.
Ine began her career in Belgium, where she completed both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Ghent University. She moved to Australia and worked across child protection, private practice and clinical psychology settings. She is a Registered psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), as well as a Medicare provider for psychological services.
