Kassie Bromley
Registered Psychologist
Kassie is a Registered Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and young adults, and is also a qualified teacher with a Doctorate in Adolescent Neuroscience. Her work is grounded in an understanding of how the developing brain shapes emotions, behaviour, and learning, particularly during adolescence. Drawing on her background across education, psychology, and neuroscience, Kassie supports young people and their families to better understand themselves and navigate challenges during these important developmental years.
With extensive experience working within schools, Kassie has a strong understanding of the academic, social, and emotional pressures young people face. She supports children and young people experiencing a broad range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges that may impact their wellbeing, relationships, and engagement with school and daily life. Recognising the important role families play in a young person’s wellbeing, Kassie works collaboratively with parents and carers to support positive relationships and strengthen the broader family system.
Kassie takes a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy. She places a strong emphasis on psychoeducation, helping young people understand their brain development, emotions, and behaviour so they can make sense of their experiences and develop practical strategies for navigating life’s challenges. Her work draws on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and developmentally informed interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
Drawing on her background in adolescent neuroscience, Kassie has a particular interest in supporting young people during the formative years of development. Her work focuses on helping individuals develop insight into how they think, feel, and operate in the world, while also supporting lifestyle habits that optimise both brain development and mental health.
Kassie is committed to creating a supportive and non-judgemental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of making meaningful change. She particularly enjoys helping young people and families develop a deeper understanding of themselves and seeing the confidence and resilience that can grow from this process. Kassie values working collaboratively with parents, schools, GPs, and other health professionals to ensure young people receive coordinated and supportive care across the different areas of their lives.
