Kate is a warm, genuine and compassionate psychologist who enjoys working with adolescents and adults. She has experience in treating depression and anxiety disorders, trauma and PTSD, stress, bulimia and binge-eating disorders, substance misuse and other addictive behaviours, interpersonal issues and emotional dysregulation. 

Kate adopts a client-centered approach; she believes in understanding each client's unique situation and providing evidence-based and up-to-date treatments to support them. She draws on a number of therapy modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based interventions.

After working as a registered psychologist in private practice for over five years, Kate is now studying her Masters of Clinical Psychology to further pursue endorsement as a clinical psychologist.
