She Rises

Girl’s Small Group Program
by Eloff & Andrews Clinical Psychology

Upper primary can be a time of friendship changes, growing independence, social pressures and big emotions. She Rises is a small, supportive group designed to help girls build confidence, strengthen friendships and develop lifelong emotional skills in a safe and encouraging environment.

About

  • Age Range: 8–12 years (Years 3–6)
    Duration: 5 weekly sessions
    Day & Time: Tuesdays, 3:30pm – 4:30pm
    Commencing: 12 May 2026 (Term 2)
    Group Size: Maximum 6 girls

  • Who This Program Is For

She Rises is designed for girls aged 8–12 years (Years 3–6) who would benefit from extra support, guidance and confidence in navigating friendships, emotions and social situations.

This group may be particularly helpful for girls who:

    • Care deeply about friendships but sometimes feel left out or unsure where they stand

    • Experience friendship “ups and downs” or drama

    • Find it hard to speak up for themselves or set boundaries

    • Feel anxious in social situations or worry about what others think

    • Struggle to join conversations or maintain peer connections

    • Are sensitive, thoughtful and deeply feeling

    • Prefer smaller group settings to build confidence

    • Are adjusting to social changes in upper primary school

The program is inclusive of both neurotypical and neurodiverse girls, including those who may:

    • Experience social communication differences

    • Be autistic or ADHD

    • Find social cues confusing or overwhelming

    • Need explicit teaching of friendship and conversation skills

    • Benefit from structured support and predictable group routines

Our small group format (maximum 6 participants) allows us to tailor discussions and activities to each girl’s unique strengths, personality and needs. We celebrate differences and create a space where every participant feels safe, respected and understood.

Whether your daughter is quietly reserved, highly sensitive, socially eager but unsure, or navigating neurodiversity, She Rises is designed to help her build confidence, connection and self-belief in a supportive and empowering environment.

Who This Program Is Not For

To ensure the group remains safe, supportive and effective for all participants, She Rises may not be the right fit for girls who:

    • Display significant aggressive behaviours toward peers

    • Have frequent physical outbursts or unsafe behaviours

    • Require intensive 1:1 behavioural support

    • Are unable to participate in a small group format

    • Are currently unable to read or write at a basic primary school level (as workbook activities are included)

If your daughter is experiencing more complex emotional or behavioural challenges, we would be very happy to discuss individual therapy options or alternative supports that may better meet her needs at this time.

Our goal is always to place each child in the setting where they can feel safe, succeed and flourish.

  • Our Approach

She Rises is structured, engaging and interactive. Girls will:

    • Participate in practical, hands-on activities

    • Use their own personalised program booklet

    • Discuss real-life scenarios in a supportive space

    • Practise new skills with guidance

    • Build meaningful peer connections

Sessions are designed to be both fun and therapeutic, creating a safe space where girls feel heard, valued and empowered.

Due to the small group size early registration is recommended.

  • $1,075 for the full 5-week program

    Medicare rebates available
